After the success of our January workshop, we're heading to the Sussex Woods again to 'lose our shoulds' for an inspiring day where you'll learn the path to effortless work.
Join us on May 11th along with our workshop host Laurence Shorter, leadership coach, comedian and author of ‘The Optimist’ & ‘The Lazy Guru’s Guide to Life’.
Over the course of the day you'll learn a way of being that is less stressful, less painful and radically more creative and efficient: the art of having no idea.
Laurence will share his experience of navigating uncertainty by accepting failure & confusion, giving examples from his own life and his work with teams, leaders and entrepreneurs. You will leave with both insights and practical tools for change.
We'll cover:
- Effort vs effortlessness
An inquiry into what is difficult & stressful versus easy & natural - Shoulds & can’ts
Understanding what gets in the way of flow - Space & inspiration
A live experience of space without achievement - Insights & action
How we fill space & how to create more of it
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
Offering practical tools and exercises to transform the way we work, this inspiring, collaborative workshop will guide us to look at our lives and discover what we can do – and how – to keep things in flow. We'll look at:
• How change, inspiration and insights happen
• The patterns that repeatedly block progress
• How to harness the self-organising force
• Simple habits of mindfulness at work
