Stop dreaming, start doing: How to take your idea from lightbulb to launch
How do you take an idea from that eureka moment to a fully working product and scalable web business? This is a hands–on, fast paced workshop which introduces the principles behind lean startup. You’ll learn how to go from Plan A to a Plan that works. Numbers are limited (12 attendees max) so get in there quick. We ask that all attendees come with a startup ideas (made up is fine, a real one is better!) that you’d like to explore on the day.
What you’ll learn:
Why passion & purpose are important
How to start with user needs and problems, not solutions
The value of creating simple user personas and stories
How to conduct effective customer interviews
A practical introduction to the lean canvas (your one page business plan)
Different ways to validate your idea
How to define you minimum viable product
This session will be run by the founders of Spook Studio, a startup innovation studio by the sea that has launched many successful products, Laurence McCahill (design lead) and Carlos Saba (technical lead).
